Is the Cambridge Diet good for PCOS?

Yes, the Cambridge Diet (now known as Cambridge Weight Plan) is a great short-term diet for PCOS. It's a very low-calorie plan that uses meal replacement shakes and bars. While the rapid weight loss can be motivating and might improve insulin sensitivity in the short term, it can be very tough on the body. For women with PCOS, such a drastic calorie deficit can sometimes spike cortisol (your stress hormone), which can actually mess with your cycle or lead to a metabolic slowdown. It also doesn't teach you how to eat real food for your hormones in the long run. If you’re considering it, it’s best to do so under medical supervision to ensure you aren't doing more harm than good.
